The Aeropress always ships with paper filters. These filters produce coffee that’s crisper, brighter, and cleaner than that of the french press filter. Sadly, the natural oils and micro-ground – which give off tons of flavor – aren’t allowed into the final mug.
The AeroPress is a device for brewing coffee. … Coffee is steeped for 10–50 seconds (depending on grind and preferred strength) and then forced through a filter by pressing the plunger through the tube. The filters used are either the AeroPress paper filters or disc shaped thin metal filters.
How long does an AeroPress last?
What can I do? Buy a new seal: The seal can easily be replaced on the end of the plunger so one solution is to buy a new seal. With care, a new seal should last at least three years.
